With 6 assignments to complete (1 task per unit), each written task comes in the form of an essay question and is designed to test your knowledge and understanding of the syllabus. These will be assessed by your tutor whereupon they will mark, feedback and sign off each completed unit.

This course assesses the following units:
- Unit 1 – Understand how to contribute to monitoring the health of individuals affected by health conditions (2 credits)
- Unit 2 – Introductory awareness of sensory loss (2 credits)
- Unit 3 – Stroke awareness (3 credits)
- Unit 4 – Arthritis awareness (3 credits)
- Unit 5 – Dementia awareness (2 credits)
- Unit 6 – Parkinson’s disease awareness (3 credits)
This course can be completed over a 12-month period; however thanks to the structure of our courses you can study on your own terms.
